SPMS Launches AC Power Strip product line at AFCOM'S Data Center World

State College, Pennsylvania - April 21, 2008 - Spectrum Power Management Systems launched a new line of off-the-shelf AC Power Strips March 30 - April 3, 2008 at AFCOM's Data Center World in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is their first line of OTS AC Power Strips. Leonardo Marsala, Director of Sales and Marketing, explains "Spectrum Power Management Systems has proven itself to be a highly reliable and cost effective provider of custom AC Power Strip solutions for many large OEM customers. By creating a standard line of AC Power Strips, we are now providing these products to the general market place."

Their portfolio of AC Power Strips features a variety of power inputs and outputs, which allows the user to mix and match components to accommodate most power distribution needs. Both NEMA and IEC receptacles and plugs are utilized. Hybrid outlet mixes are also available to allow for variety in a cabinet. Low voltage 120 VAC and high voltage 200-250 VAC inputs are offered. Output power capabilities range from 2.40 to 24.96 KVA.

These 0U, 1U, or 2U designs are offered with a choice of power monitoring (inclusive of visual display) or without monitoring. These units also feature UL-listed 489 circuit breakers, LED power-on indicators, and a rugged frame construction with a black powder coat finish.
